The unique physical configuration of the Stand-Up® MRI (A product of FONAR Corporation) makes it the world's most Patient Friendly™ MRI. No “tube.” No “tunnel.” Most patients are scanned seated watching TV. It is also the only MRI that can scan patients in any position, including weight-bearing positions, such as sitting or standing, allowing it to detect certain problems that would be underestimated or completely missed by any other type of MRI.

Our High-Field 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner (the MAGNETON Avanto, a product of Siemens) is a perfect complement to the Stand-Up® MRI. It provides thin slices, high-resolution images, fast scans, exceptional spatial resolution and advanced imaging applications. Together, the two MRI scanners provide patients with the “Best of Both Worlds.”
